What does a first session actually look like?
We sit together — in person at our Penang office or over a video call — and talk through your business at whatever depth feels comfortable. There is no fixed agenda. We listen, ask a few gentle questions, and at the end share our initial observations in plain language.
Do I need to prepare anything before the session?
No preparation is required for the First Stall Review. If you have basic figures — monthly revenue, number of staff, a rough cost breakdown — that is helpful, but not at all necessary. For the Market Day Advisory, we may ask you to bring a few documents to the second session, but we will guide you on that in advance.
Are sessions conducted in Bahasa Malaysia or English?
We work comfortably in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. You are welcome to mix languages mid-conversation — many owners here do, and we are entirely at ease with that.
What kinds of businesses do you typically work with?
We have worked with a range of small businesses across Penang and the surrounding region — food and beverage, retail, light services, trades, and small professional practices. The common thread is that they are owner-operated and the owner genuinely cares about making considered decisions.
How is the pricing structured — is there a contract?
The First Stall Review and Market Day Advisory are fixed-price engagements with no ongoing commitment. The Whole Market Programme is a monthly arrangement that either party can step back from with reasonable notice. We do not tie owners into long-term contracts.
How quickly can we begin after getting in touch?
We typically respond to enquiries within one to two working days and can usually schedule a first session within the following week, subject to availability. There is no pressure to begin immediately if you prefer to take more time to decide.
